reiki is an ancient system which is similar to acupuncture in that it uses the body’s meridians (energetic pathways), but without needles.  it is a natural healing modality that is simple but effective. 

people receive reiki treatments to relax, to assist in the healing of chronic problems, and to increase health: physically, emotionally, and spiritually.  the word reiki comes from the japanese ideograms rei (spiritual wisdom) and ki (life force).  this is the same energy referred to as prana, light, and chi.
